Daily Life

Zero's home has been invaded by yet another little creature - Miss Kendall. He continues to move down on the food chain, but has been great about it. He actively plays with Carsen now, and just kind of looks curiously on at Kendall. He's been a great dog and is very good with the kids.

Zero's New Best Friend

Well, this past year has certainly been full of changes for Zero. He was downgraded from the prestigious status of being the 'baby' of the family to just being the dog. He has learned though that this new creature we've brought home, Carsen, can be a pretty decent pal. Carsen has learned to turn on the bath tub faucet to give his puppy some water, and Zero has learned that Carsen usually has chunks of food stuck to him after dinner time. Carsen loves to hang out on Zero's bed, typically kicking Zero right off his bed so he can play on it. Through it all, Zero has been a great sport and has accepted his new position in the family with dignity and grace!

Zero's health

Zero had a scare this past month in that some tests during a routine checkup came back irregular. The vet believed that he may have something wrong with his liver. After a few tests and hundreds of dollars later, it was found inconclusive that there was something specific wrong with him. It turned up that he is fine and all is well with him!

Regardless of all the poking and prodding, he still remains in spirit for the holidays.

Zero adaptation to Carsen

Zero has been very depressed lately with the addition of Carsen. He looks for attention at every chance he can get, by chewing on toilet paper, digging through garbage's, carrying shoes around and much more. He seems to like Carsen and we are comfortable knowing that Zero would be protective of the new guy, if it came down to it.
